An alliance of the like-minded.
We’re a community-led Charitable Trust tackling the invasive weed problem in Thames head-on.

We formed with the vision to restore the Thames environment from the effects of historic mining and neglect. We are owning the problem and spearheading an operational plan to tackle the invasive weed and pest problem and enhance its native biodiversity.
We love to collaborate and work with the community and like-minded organisations for the benefit of the Thames environment and overall wellbeing. Drop us a line at cuppa@tea.org.nz to chat about how we can make a difference together.
TEA pillars.
We believe that a holistic and circular approach with community at the centre will help to sustain successes.
- Remove invasive weeds, protect our natives.
- Plant to improve natural biodiversity.
- Trap pests that kill our native birds.
- Create tracks to access traps and improve wellbeing.
- Engage with local community members and groups.

Our partners.
Collaboration is at the heart of our kaupapa, and we thank our willing partners.
